After her boo was no longer held in the spirit of their relationship, a UK woman was haunted by her dating decisions.

Amethyst Realm, 32, explains that Ray, a ghost she claimed to have encountered on holiday in Outback Australia in 2018, was involved with her.

Although she had heard of other ghosts, Realm said, Ray was the first she had been romantically associated with.

The pair flew back to the UK together and had a friendship, according to Realm, before he proposed that year.

But Realm has announced that the marriage is off and that their friendship has vaporised.

“So, now, we’ve called the wedding off,” she told UK breakfast television show This Morning.

“It was going really well, until we went on holiday.

While on vacation in Thailand, Realm said Ray “completely changed” with his ghoulish behaviour continuing upon their return.

“I think maybe he fell in with a bad crowd when were on holiday,” she said.

“He just started becoming really inconsiderate.

“He disappeared for long periods of time.

“When he did come back, he’d bring other spirits back to the house, and they just stay around for days.”

She told the programme that Ray was accused of “doing drugs and partying a bit much”.

Crashing and scratching and (making) odd sounds “crashing and banging and (making) strange noises”.

Realm said she made the option to stay single for the future.
