A woman who crossed the South Australian border illegally has been let free.
Patricia Kohn, 65, snuck up in the back of a truck across the border from Victoria. Kohn arrived in South Australia ‘s Mount Gambier on Tuesday night and went twice to a Service SA centre until her detention was led to a tip-off yesterday.
The mother-of-eight pleaded guilty and received a suspended jail term. SA Police Commissioner Grant Stevens today said there will be steps in place to prevent Kohn from potentially infecting South Australians. She was placed into two weeks of self iso.
