The Collingwood debutant ‘s mother Trey Ruscoe just keeps coming up with the goods.

For her brilliant reaction to the Pies star, Fiona went viral earlier in the week telling his mum that he was going to play his first AFL game against the Swans on Thursday evening.

Not realising the call was being filmed, Fiona reacted with a shocked “f * * * off” before roasting her offspring asking if he would only get a game because everyone else in the team had fallen over.

On Friday morning she cemented her cult status in a hilarious radio interview where she revealed she missed Trey’s first highest-level goal because she was having a smoke.

Fiona hosted 30 people for Trey’s huge occasion at her place in Western Australia, which she said made it hard to watch the game and ended up feeling “a little dusty.”

“I didn’t see the actual goal because I was out the back and everyone started screaming when he marked it,” Fiona told footy legends Garry Lyon and Tim Watson on SEN Breakfast.

“So I came running in just as the ball was going through the goalposts. I didn’t actually see what happened before that and I haven’t had a chance to go back and watch a replay.

“It looked good and we were all celebrating.”

When asked how she could possibly have missed her son’s first goal in the AFL, Fiona added sheepishly: “I was just having a little smoke.

“I’m trying to give up so I was just having a quick durry out the back. Don’t tell Trey!

“There’s that many videos of it. I won’t miss it, will I?”
