After posting images online to create a DIY chicken coop, Scott Morrison has become a social media sensation.
Pictures posted on the Facebook page of the Prime Minister show him on the tools in the backyard, with a note saying that wife Jenny and daughters Lily and Abbey ordered the coop online and tasked him with putting it together.
“I love seeing your personal side. Good job on the coop,” read another.
“Great work. So glad your getting time to just be a dad and husband,” said another fan.
Morrison added that his wife and daughters decided to call it ‘Lodge Ladies’ and give the names of former wives of Australian Prime Ministers to the chickens.
More than 36,000 reactions, 1,000 shares and almost 4,000 mostly supportive comments have been drawn to the PM’s Facebook post.
“You’re full of positive energy PM please keep this vibe up as Australia needs this right now more than ever,” one person wrote.
