Victorian premier Daniel Andrews cautioned that there is a risk that Victoria could “plunge into a third wave” of coronavirus as he slows down pressure to release a roadmap from the lockdown.
The Victorian Premier said he didn’t want to reopen the state early and see a resulting increase in cases.
New daily cases fell under 100 for the first time on Saturday in nearly two months bringing 18 new deaths.
Of the 18 deaths, 16 are related to older treatment.
