A mother from Perth convicted of killing her two young daughters has appeared in court.
The West Australian claims Milka Djurasovic will now face trial over the suspected murders of her two children after pleading not guilty on Wednesday.
In their Madeley home in Perth ‘s north, the bodies of sisters Tiana, 6, and Mia, 10, were found in October 2019.
Milka was discovered hours later with self-inflicted wounds at the car park at Mullaloo Beach, also in the northern suburbs of the city.

When he was heard shouting on the front lawn outside his house, the family’s neighbours called the police.
38-year-old Milka Djurasovic appeared via videolink on Wednesday from Bandyup Women’s Prison to plead not guilty to two counts of murder.
