Two former NSW police officers were denied bail after being charged with attempted rape and producing videos of child abuse.
Senior constables Angelo Franco Dellosa, 30, and James Delinicolis, 29, were arrested in western Sydney on Wednesday morning, and taken to the police station in Hurstville.
Dellosa has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, attempted aggravated in-company sexual assault, and created material of child abuse.
Delinicolis was charged with alleged aggravated sexual assault in business, manufacturing content on child abuse and public service misconduct.
Both appeared on Wednesday at Sutherland Local Court and were denied bail by magistrate Joy Boulos to appear on September 15 at Central Local Court.
Dellosa and Delinicolis were fired without pay.
The allegations arise from events arising in or prior to June 2020.
NSW Police said in a statement on Wednesday that the investigation has been briefed by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission and is ongoing.
