After NSW reported 15 new COVID-19 cases, the Crossroads Hotel coronavirus cluster has risen to 45.
On Saturday, NSW Deputy Chief Health Officer Dr Jeremy McAnulty told reporters that 15 new COVID-19 cases had been confirmed on Friday night at 8pm. Four were travellers abroad, while five were connected to Sydney’s south-west pub.
The figures also include a third case relating to the Wetherill Park Thai Rock restaurant.
A further five incidents remain under review, including two from the same family, and have not yet been linked to Crossroads cluster.
Dr McAnulty also reported that two confirmed cases, included in Friday’s numbers, had visited the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club on July 13 from 7 pm to 9 pm and the Albion Park McDonald’s on July 15 from 2 pm to 2.30pm.
He urged people who were attending those venues to immediately isolate themselves, watch for symptoms carefully, and if they develop to come forward for immediate testing.
