An unfortunate Spanish matador was struck by a bull after he stabbed it after the coronavirus lockout during one of Spain’s first bullfights.
Enrique Ponce had stabbed the animal in an effort to kill it on the bullring in southwest Spain at El Puerto de Santa Maria.
But the bull turned on Mr Ponce-a father-of-two-after it was knifed, causing him to have to lie down in a bid to defend himself at one point.
According to sources, on the 140th anniversary of the Real Plaza de Toros de El Puerto de Santa María this was Mr Ponce’s first time back in the ring.
Remarkably, Mr Ponce was unharmed by the accident but certainly one thing is-karma is a bull.
