Several major US television networks have cut off the White House from broadcasting Donald Trump’s live press conference.
As the President announced that he was “easily wins” the US election, accusing ballots cast against him as “illegal” in a White House speech, the comments were stopped by a variety of national TV networks.
No evidence exists to substantiate any allegations of corruption or fraud being carried out during the election process.
Shortly after he began speaking, MSBNC, NBC, CBC and ABC News all cut away from Mr. Trump’s speech, but CNN and Fox News carried his full remarks.
Mr. Trump was said by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper to be “like an obese turtle on his back, flailing in the hot sun.”
In its criticism, Fox News was less colourful, but host Bret Baier acknowledged that” “we have not seen hard evidence”of any election fraud.
