Couple from QLD were terrified after noticing an unexpected intruder had snuck under their bed.
The couple who live in Doonan, near Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, left their doors open on Tuesday to allow a cool breeze to pass through the home as the weather starts warming up.
But a “absolutely massive” carpet python slithered its way inside and made itself at home under their bed.
Luke Huntley, Snake Catcher Noosa said the couple were opening their blinds when they saw a tail on Wednesday morning. They saw the snake as they moved towards the other side of the room.
They closed the door and called Mr. Huntley, who said that they would certainly not leave their door open again.
“The couple left the backdoor open the previous day for the whole afternoon. Many people leave their doors and windows open during the day as the weather warms up, it’s something you do a lot in Queensland,” he said.
“But as soon as you open the door up you potentially let in a snake, spiders and flies.”
