We reported yesterday about this new freezer item that’s creating a huge buzz among Coles supermarket customers.
The supermarket has released McCain EmotiBites Mashed Potato Shapes in their frozen aisle, and the launch has gone viral on Facebook.
But one customer has recognized a funny discovery in one batch of the emoji-shaped mashed potato shapes, and the “rude” find has left many LTAO.
On a Facebook page, Mum Tiana shares her finding, and it wasn’t long before many noticed that the ‘thumbs up’ potato bite looks a lot more like a middle finger.
“Is that a rude finger?” one customer asked on the Mums Who Budget & Save Facebook page.
“I see middle fingers too!” replied another.
Said a third: “So I’m not the only one who [did a] double-take at the ‘thumbs up’?”
Some agreed that, though it looks ‘rude,’ it could be the right way of expressing a fed-up mum’s feelings.
