One of the three women who reportedly lied to the authorities to return to Queensland spoke out of the quarantine room.
Haja Timbo, 21, has been named as the third woman accused.
Together with 19-year-old Olivia Winnie Muranga and 21-year-old Diana Lasu, Ms Timbo raised concerns about the State’s outbreak.
After spending several days doing business in the group, Muranga and Lasu tested positive for COVID-19.
Timbo has not screened positively yet, as a precaution, is in quarantine.
The three women were charged with supplying misleading information and deception linked to their re-entry into the state, which enforced stringent travel restrictions from Victoria.
Ms Timbo who is currently in hotel quarantine briefly commented on the backlash she had received.
“Half of the things that are in the media aren’t true, so what can you do,” she told the Courier Mail.
“I want everything to be confidential. I don’t want to be in the media or my friends to be in the media.”
